Michigan 3SI 2nd Annual Gathering Aug. 19-20 2000

Welcome to the second annual Michigan gathering page. 

This year is out second first anniversary as a group. Don Kessler got us together last year the day after the Woodward Dream Cruise. This year in honor of that We are holding our second annual gathering the weekend of this years cruise. On Saturday the 19th the plan is to meet some place along the cruise route and enjoy. On Sunday the 20th we plan to meet on the parking deck at Don' s office and show off our cars. And when we get hungry well hit the TGI Fridays restaurant out front.  After that we may just see about hitting a local drag strip or just cruse around drawing all sorts of attention 
SATURDAY Aug 19th

This was the day of the Dream Cruise. We were not able to reserve parking so we did the best we could.  There were 4 of us to start the day and a total 6 members stopped in during the day and I saw two more (Tim and Mark) cruising by.  We also met 3 new owners. All 3 stopped in on Sunday and one stopped to chat with us for a while.

SUNDAY Aug 20th

Sunday Was the Official Michigan 3SI 2nd annual gathering. The first owners arrived at 11am (maybe earlier I was late, Whoops) During the day we had 18 cars 19 owners and our mascot(unofficial) stop in for a visit. We had 16 cars at the high point. We chatted Looked at each others cars. All 3 of the owners that we met at the cruse showed. The area was relatively private so One owner was able to make a few quick runs with a data logger (He even chipped his tires on one launch) We hung out till almost 5pm
